About Us
The partnership Rembe Consulting PartG mbB started working on January 1st, 2015. It was founded in December 2014 by Dipl.-Ing. Michael Rembe and Dipl. Ing. Kathrin Rembe. It was registered at the district court Jena on the 29th of December 2014 under the reference PR 500094.
The partnership works in the field of geosciences for many years. We have long-time experience in the fields of geology, hydrogeology, prospecting and remediation of contaminated sites, environment engineering, exploration for geothermal power plants and mining of evaporates by leaching.

Since 1990 Michael Rembe (graduated engineer for deep drilling and fluid mining) has been working on the numerical simulation of seepage and groundwater. Furthermore, he works on the numerical simulation of mass and energy transport in the underground and on the numerical simulation of multiphysical phenomena. His special subjects are the density dependent groundwater flow, gas flow and the fluid flow in cavities (e.g. salt caverns). |

With the entrance of Gerd Knab (graduated engineer for deep drilling and fluid mining) in the partnership he has expanded our team since Januar 2017. Gerd Knab has worked since 1983 in the fields of the numerical simulation of groundwater flow and the mass and energy transport with groundwater flow. During his work he has gathered experience at remediation examination, remediation planning and remediation of groundwater pollution. Futhermore he is specialized in the processing of 2D und 3D surface water models and precipitation runoff models. |

Kathrin Rembe (graduated engineer for regional and urban planning) deals with urban land-use planning, which goals are often decisive in order to find correct criteria for the environmental remediation. |
To handle detailed geological and hydrogeological topics Johannes Rembe (M. Sc. for Geosciences) is part of the team. Beside his engagement for Rembe Consulting, he is following his scientific career and started his PhD studies at TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
